Coconut Grove is home to some of the most luxurious new developments in Miami. And in 2024, that trend will continue with the opening of the Vita at Grove Isle, a seven-story waterfront condo building with units starting at $5 million.
These coveted Coconut Grove luxury apartments are being built by Ugo Colombo, a highly acclaimed developer with past projects that include Brickell’s Bristol Tower and the redevelopment of the Waldorf and Casa Grande in South Beach. CallisonRTKL, an architectural firm with projects from Dallas to Dubai, will oversee the structural design.
Below, we’re exploring some of the unique features of this standout project, as well as sharing a few luxury design tips that are ideal for incoming Vita Grove Isle residents.
The Vita will consist of three connected buildings named the Luce, Mare, and Sole, and will be located on the 20-acre Grove Isle, located just off the mainland from downtown Coconut Grove. Privacy is key, and will be maintained with a guard-gated entrance and unobstructed ocean views unmarred by other residential towers.
Those who are interested in purchasing in this Grove Isle new development will be able to choose from 65 luxury condos, including 12 bi-level penthouses. Each unit will offer stunning views of the water, as well as easy access to the best that Coconut Grove has to offer in terms of dining, shopping, nightlife, and more. And because the project is being developed to meet National Green Building Standard Certification requirements, residents can immerse themselves in the natural beauty of Coco Grove while also helping to protect its environment for years to come.
As far as Coconut Grove luxury apartments go, the Vita will have a wealth of amenities that set it apart from other new builds. In particular, residents will be able to enjoy a strong focus on health and wellness, with amenities that include a state-of-the-art fitness center featuring daily exercise and fitness programs, as well as a full-service salon and spa.
Yoga, pilates, and spinning are just some of the on-site classes that will be offered in Vita’s fitness center. Residents can also take advantage of the Cliff Drysdale Tennis Center, an 8-court establishment with a pro shop, full tennis program, and private lessons.
Other features of the Grove Isle Coconut Grove property include:
No detail has been overlooked in the design of Vita’s high-end residential units.
The three- and four-bedroom standard residences will range in size from 2,500 to 5,000 square feet, with expansive waterfront terraces ideal for entertaining. The Vita Grove Isle Miami will also feature penthouse units ranging from 3,400 to 6,600 square feet, with private rooftop terraces with swimming pools and summer kitchens that provide an additional 2,900 to 6,100 feet of living space. All units will feature private elevators for ultimate convenience.
Each condo will be awash in natural light courtesy of floor-to-ceiling windows, with ceiling heights of 11’3” in standard units and 12’5” in penthouses. Residents who purchase units in the pre-construction phase will have the ability to maximize their vertical space with the addition of strategically placed recessed lighting, linear diffusers, and speakers.
