• Step into nature – 2023’s indoor-outdoor trend can be used in any room, but it really shines in the bedroom, where the calming presence of plants and other natural elements amplify the serenity of the space. Even without actual outdoor space attached to your bedroom, you can incorporate this trend by utilizing soft greens and earth tones and floral and botanical patterns in features like fabrics and wallpaper. Take your time choosing things like your lighting, wall art, and hardware, and aim for cohesion and luxury in larger fixtures such as your vanity, sink and faucet, tub, and shower. As we’ve mentioned a few times, natural stone works well. Incorporate stone in countertops and tile, working with an interior designer to choose materials that are best suited to the moisture in this environment.

• Use atypical shapes and materials – Even without straying too far from traditional porcelain, you can still bring a touch of the unexpected to your bathroom with interesting shapes and materials.
